This study evaluates how Coimbatore City's commerce students' employment prospects are affected by the LinkedIn social media platform. A structured questionnaire was used to gather data from commerce students as part of a descriptive research design. The study looks at perceptions of the advantages and difficulties of using LinkedIn for career development, as well as awareness and usage patterns. The results show that although LinkedIn facilitates access to job information and professional networking, its efficacy depends on digital skills, active participation, and institutional support for career readiness.
