Big Data technologies have transformed the way organizations store, process, and analyze massive volumes of structured and unstructured data. Among NoSQL databases, Apache HBase and Apache Cassandra are widely adopted distributed databases designed for scalability, fault tolerance, and high-performance data management. This research paper presents a comparative analysis of HBase and Cassandra based on architecture, consistency model, scalability, performance, fault tolerance, query support, and real-world applications. The paper highlights the strengths and limitations of both technologies and provides guidance on selecting the appropriate database according to application requirements.
